The Role

Learning Support Assistant (Level 3) – Full Time, Term Time Only


Parklands High School, Southport Road, Chorley PR7 1LL

Salary: NJC Grade 6, SCP 11-19| 37 hrs per week. Term time only | Start Date: 2nd June 2025

The Role


As a Learning Support Assistant (Level 3), you will:

  • Work closely with teachers to implement structured learning activities and interventions for students.
  • Support students with SEND in developing confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
  • Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour management, and resource development.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Play an active role in whole-school initiatives to enhance student learning experiences.


What We’re Looking For;

  • Experience of working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse needs.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
